The Vermont Agency of Education is once again sponsoring our All Learners Network Virtual Conference! This year, our conference theme is:

Inclusion and Differentiation in the Math Classroom Grades PK-12

When Tier 1 instruction is robust and inclusive, the need for additional interventions decreases significantly. Throughout this multi-day virtual conference, we will explore strategies to include all students in grade level learning while providing opportunities for differentiation and accessing “right for me right now” learning opportunities as part of a balanced math block.

When you register for this conference you will be emailed the program of events so you can choose which workshops you would like to attend.

November 19, 2024 - Keynote Address to kick off the conference and the sessions will focus on themes relevant to coaches, leaders and administrators

December 3, 2024 - Sessions will focus on themes relevant to elementary educators

December 16, 2024 - Sessions will focus on themes relevant to secondary educators

Our keynote address will be delivered by Karen Gartland, co-author of the Well Played series. She will kick off the conference with a focus on ways we can include all students in important mathematics while providing opportunities for differentiation and access to "just right" learning. Game play is just one of the ways-but it's an important and engaging way! Emphasizing that all learners deserve to have fun and learn important concepts in math class. Games are not just for the kids who finish their work first. They serve a purpose - they can both highlight and elevate understanding of mathematical concepts.
