*gain experience and knowledge about the purpose of clinical interviews.
*design clinical interviews based on math content knowledge and student observations, student work, and student profiles.
*practice and administer of multiple clinical interviews to students in a math lab setting.
*collect additional student evidence focused on math content during the clinical interview.
*analyze the results of clinical interviews and design the next instructional steps.
Each weekend session for the course will include math content exploration, administration and observation of clinical interviews with various-aged students, analysis of student data, and collaborative lesson planning that will support student learning.
