We all want children to have easy access to multiplication facts for both multiplication and division. However, we often sacrifice understanding for automaticity. In this workshop, John will explore the ways that using models for conceptual understanding, can improve fact fluency. He will also explore recall and memory and the importance of knowing and using facts. Participants will leave with strategies they can apply immediately.
